I have a 2004 ES330 once a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but later I go on the subject of turns upon onto highway ramps, next I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon afterward the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Checked for associates in the intake. taking into consideration I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant nearly 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take the TPS is integrated following the throttle controller/motor. I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and rule the motor, the car runs scratchy and at 850ish. I can forlorn guess that my further rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the alternating of rpm though? I think it unaccompanied adjusts it something like 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF aligned it is unaided measuring the ventilate that is getting later the MAF, in view of that if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the expose to fuel ratio will be totally out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. like carb cleaner spray spray in the place of the hissing behind the engine running and taking into account you hear the engine stall or rev sophisticated there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket upon the manifold.
