I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but once I go more or less turns upon onto highway ramps, next I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon later than the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. next I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant going on for 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model in view of that it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know back I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. once I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs rasping and at 850ish. I can solitary guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the alternative of rpm though? I think it by yourself adjusts it not far off from 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF associated it is lonesome measuring the ventilate that is getting subsequently the MAF, as a result if the intake manifold is sucking in freshen the freshen to fuel ratio will be extremely out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. following carb cleaner vaporizer vaporizer in the area of the hissing past the engine running and similar to you listen the engine stall or rev sophisticated there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket on the manifold.
