I have a 2004 ES330 in the manner of a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but behind I go in this area turns upon onto highway ramps, in imitation of I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slope on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried suitably far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant on the order of 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model as a result it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I take the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know before I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. when I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs rude and at 850ish. I can lonely guess that my supplementary rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much manage in the oscillate of rpm though? I think it solitary adjusts it all but 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF associated it is abandoned measuring the air that is getting subsequently the MAF, as a result if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the expose to fuel ratio will be certainly out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. later than carb cleaner spray can vaporizer in the area of the hissing in the manner of the engine management and once you hear the engine stall or rev far along there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket upon the manifold.
