Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super spread around car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge trouble that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After frustrating 2-3 every other used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. back up to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common pain subsequent to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every amalgamated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every get older I give a positive response it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are really tally up. I m in two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started brusquely after I got it home.Any extra back up you can give is appreciated. I don't know what else to complete but allow it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman dynamic upon it at the dealer, but I yet setting its pushed to the assist as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. past the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot on the accelerator. There is along with an intermittent popping solid coming at idle.
