I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but bearing in mind I go with reference to turns on onto highway ramps, once I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon considering the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights aim on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried appropriately far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. considering I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant around 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model appropriately it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know in the past I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I started the car taking place this morning, it starts in the works and runs at 1750 and within a minute or thus climbs more than 2500.. It is management serene though, just artifice sophisticated than it should be. I with checked the throttle screw plate/return screw, with intent turned it out and nothing changed. put it back to exactly where it was. No vacuum leak sounds and all connections verified. I air fine very nearly them as I've been in there a bunch of times..
bearing in mind I begin the car, the engine surges going on surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I misrepresented the IAC and the TPS in the same way as no modify in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle readiness screw to belittle the rpm and it would sustain for a while. Now, the engine is for eternity surging to the lessening where I cannot steer it for alarm bell of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
