I have a 2004 ES330 following a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but when I go going on for turns on onto highway ramps, similar to I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon behind the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights incline on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. as soon as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I understand the TPS is integrated as soon as the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know previously I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
Might next be worth checking the wiring and connector to the airflow meter for any signs of corrosion or damage. you can do a quick oddity find if you unplug the meter and direct the engine without it. if the engine condition is the same then chances are the meter or the link to it is faulty. Its in addition to worth cleaning the MAF sensor wires, as they can get coated when dirt on top of period which then offsets the reading. Use some entre cleaner or brake cleaner to vaporizer onto the wires to separate the dirt upon no account touch the wires later than everything as they are totally fragile
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode thus I'd recommend to make certain the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly high and dry like carbon. and subsequently adjust the TPS consequently that the IDL glue is continuous to the E2 stick gone the throttle is closed, and door circuit as soon as the throttle is just cracked. Don't bother just about any voltages, the IDL right of entry is the in reality important one.
