I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but following I go around turns upon onto highway ramps, later than I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds since reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon past the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. following I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model therefore it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I recognize the TPS is integrated subsequent to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you desire the mechanic to know before I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started gruffly after I got it home.Any supplementary support you can allow is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but recognize it back up to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman functional on it at the dealer, but I yet vibes its pushed to the back up as its obsolete and everyone loses in this situation.
with I start the car, the engine surges occurring in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm incite and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS taking into account no fiddle with in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to become accustomed the idle eagerness screw to demean the rpm and it would withhold for a while. Now, the engine is forever surging to the point where I cannot steer it for anxiety of broken to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
