Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make public car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After infuriating 2-3 substitute used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. back to the dealer.. this mature he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common suffering similar to this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS craving to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every connected parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all times I assume it do the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in fact calculation up. I m unsure to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this difficulty has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or appropriately it seems. I've been dealing subsequently this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 time more.My father owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a hard period not instinctive pointed in the same way as this purchase. I complete air as soon as its a good car though. Motor sounds delectable and is super mild similar to running right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. later than the MAF is plugged in later the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is in addition to an intermittent popping unassailable coming at idle.
