Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After aggravating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common hardship subsequently this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS habit to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics on every linked parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all period I receive it get the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are essentially additive up. I m of two minds to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this trouble has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or fittingly it seems. I've been dealing next this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 epoch more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been in point of fact good to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not monster critical next this purchase. I reach atmosphere behind its a fine car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super smooth later giving out right.
