I have a 2004 ES330 in imitation of a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but behind I go in this area turns upon onto highway ramps, next I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon subsequently the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights viewpoint on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. as soon as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant more or less 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I tolerate the TPS is integrated following the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know back I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. past I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs rasping and at 850ish. I can and no-one else guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the different of rpm though? I think it by yourself adjusts it in this area 1k..
gone I start the car, the engine surges going on in the company of 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS next no tweak in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to adapt the idle enthusiasm screw to humiliate the rpm and it would withhold for a while. Now, the engine is every time surging to the dwindling where I cannot drive it for fear of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
