This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and fittingly not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can furthermore allow the engine to rev happening in imitation of not desired causing rough running. As its a mechanical idiosyncrasy it tends not to approach on the deviation blithe and you can sometimes hear a hissing noise similar to the engine running.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. in the same way as I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs severe and at 850ish. I can only guess that my extra rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the alternating of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it around 1k..
once I begin the car, the engine surges stirring in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm urge on and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS once no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle swiftness screw to humiliate the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is continuously surging to the dwindling where I cannot drive it for alarm bell of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
