I have a 2004 ES330 taking into account a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but subsequently I go just about turns on onto highway ramps, subsequent to I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon taking into consideration the similar engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights position on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried thus far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. bearing in mind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems good except that the TPS stays constant going on for 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I say you will the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know since I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me tell you a tiny more nearly the suffering history. It currently has a master tech certified idle air rule valve and tps installed. without touching anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would control in the car without this symptom.
subsequently I start the car, the engine surges occurring in the company of 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS taking into account no correct in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle quickness screw to belittle the rpm and it would hold for a while. Now, the engine is continually surging to the point where I cannot drive it for dread of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
