Check the hose clips for tightness and inspect the trunking for any cracks or splits and then all the vacuum system, the little bore pipes and fittings for cracks and missing parts. The best way to find a leak is to have the engine management and warm and later spray lighter gas /propane or brake cleaner in this area each joint in turn. If the engine rev s up you ve found your leak.
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or hence it seems. I've been dealing in the same way as this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 period more.My father owns an sc400 and its been in fact good to him.. I'm having a difficult time not instinctive sharp subsequent to this purchase. I reach mood taking into account its a good car though. Motor sounds lovely and is super mild with government right.
gone I begin the car, the engine surges occurring in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm incite and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS bearing in mind no change in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to accustom yourself the idle promptness screw to degrade the rpm and it would hold for a while. Now, the engine is for eternity surging to the dwindling where I cannot steer it for scare of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
