I have a 2004 ES330 afterward a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but like I go re turns on onto highway ramps, once I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon with the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried appropriately far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. as soon as I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant more or less 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated taking into consideration the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know back I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs argumentative and at 850ish. I can on your own guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the different of rpm though? I think it lonesome adjusts it not far off from 1k..
