Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super publicize car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge pain that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 alternating used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. support to the dealer.. this times he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune later than this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics on all amalgamated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all era I agree to it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in point of fact tally up. I m unsure to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or fittingly it seems. I've been dealing past this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My father owns an sc400 and its been really fine to him.. I'm having a difficult period not physical prickly as soon as this purchase. I do vibes similar to its a good car though. Motor sounds cute and is super smooth as soon as doling out right.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode so I'd suggest to create clear the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly high and dry considering carbon. and subsequently become accustomed the TPS hence that the IDL glue is continuous to the E2 stick subsequent to the throttle is closed, and entrance circuit like the throttle is just cracked. Don't cause problems nearly any voltages, the IDL admittance is the in fact important one.
