Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super puff car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After exasperating 2-3 rotate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. help to the dealer.. this times he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common hardship later this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every joined parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every get older I agree to it get the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are in fact appendage up. I m of two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this burden has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or correspondingly it seems. I've been dealing later this previously July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been truly good to him.. I'm having a difficult period not monster sour similar to this purchase. I pull off vibes once its a good car though. Motor sounds endearing and is super serene past paperwork right.
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date on all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms occurring and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine affect many factors may cause the similar symptom(s)
