I have a 2004 ES330 bearing in mind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but past I go roughly turns upon onto highway ramps, in the same way as I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in the manner of the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights direction on? Is the battery fully charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively further battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. later I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems good except that the TPS stays constant concerning 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated bearing in mind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know past I connect you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. next I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs sharp and at 850ish. I can only guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the substitute of rpm though? I think it forlorn adjusts it not far off from 1k..
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF linked it is abandoned measuring the expose that is getting later than the MAF, correspondingly if the intake manifold is sucking in air the let breathe to fuel ratio will be unquestionably out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. behind carb cleaner vaporizer spray can in the place of the hissing later than the engine supervision and taking into consideration you hear the engine stall or rev difficult there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket on the manifold.
