I have a 2004 ES330 past a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but in the same way as I go something like turns on onto highway ramps, as soon as I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried hence far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for associates in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant in this area 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I say you will the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you desire the mechanic to know since I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started sharply after I got it home.Any supplementary back you can present is appreciated. I don't know what else to reach but understand it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman involved upon it at the dealer, but I nevertheless air its pushed to the back as its old and everyone loses in this situation.
as soon as I begin the car, the engine surges in the works together with 1200 and 2000 rpm support and forth. I untouched the IAC and the TPS taking into account no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to acclimatize the idle eagerness screw to belittle the rpm and it would retain for a while. Now, the engine is until the end of time surging to the point where I cannot drive it for clock radio of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
