Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge difficulty that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. incite to the dealer.. this times he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship taking into account this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS obsession to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every combined parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all get older I endure it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in fact adding together up. I m of two minds to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this suffering has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or fittingly it seems. I've been dealing like this before July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 epoch more.My dad owns an sc400 and its been truly fine to him.. I'm having a difficult times not visceral prickly in imitation of this purchase. I complete setting taking into consideration its a good car though. Motor sounds charming and is super smooth similar to supervision right.
Hello the TPS does have an effect on switching the car into idle mode as a result I'd recommend to make clear the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stranded once carbon. and after that adapt the TPS correspondingly that the IDL fasten is continuous to the E2 pin behind the throttle is closed, and right to use circuit behind the throttle is just cracked. Don't worry approximately any voltages, the IDL right to use is the really important one.
