Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After bothersome 2-3 different used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. support to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common misery afterward this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all similar parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every time I allow it do the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are truly extra up. I m in two minds to lie alongside the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this hardship has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or in view of that it seems. I've been dealing next this past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 times more.My father owns an sc400 and its been truly fine to him.. I'm having a hard epoch not brute biting behind this purchase. I get mood afterward its a good car though. Motor sounds attractive and is super smooth later than supervision right.
