This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any expose dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and hence not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can with permit the engine to rev stirring subsequent to not desired causing scratchy running. As its a mechanical irregularity it tends not to tilt on the oddity buoyant and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise with the engine running.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started quickly after I got it home.Any extra back up you can find the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to attain but agree to it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman enthusiastic on it at the dealer, but I still air its pushed to the help as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.
subsequent to I start the car, the engine surges stirring in the middle of 1200 and 2000 rpm back and forth. I distorted the IAC and the TPS once no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this similar issue. Prior to this I would have to get used to the idle rapidity screw to degrade the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is continuously surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for radio alarm of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
