I have a 2004 ES330 in the same way as a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but later I go roughly speaking turns on onto highway ramps, subsequently I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon afterward the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights point of view on? Is the battery abundantly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried therefore far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. with I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I admit the TPS is integrated later than the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know since I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hastily after I got it home.Any supplementary urge on you can offer is appreciated. I don't know what else to realize but understand it support to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman functioning upon it at the dealer, but I still atmosphere its pushed to the back up as its obsolescent and everyone loses in this situation.
This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF combined it is on your own measuring the ventilate that is getting afterward the MAF, therefore if the intake manifold is sucking in ventilate the ventilate to fuel ratio will be utterly out and cause the engine to stall. If MAF is disconnected the engine goes into a limp measurement and lets the engine run. as soon as carb cleaner spray vaporizer in the area of the hissing like the engine management and as soon as you listen the engine stall or rev well ahead there is the leak ,could be a bad vacuum hose bad gasket upon the manifold.
