I have a 2004 ES330 similar to a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but with I go on the order of turns on onto highway ramps, gone I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon once the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this problem has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or hence it seems. I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. taking into account the MAF is plugged in then the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is with an intermittent popping solid coming at idle.
