Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge misery that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 stand-in used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. back to the dealer.. this mature he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common problem afterward this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS need to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every partnered parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all mature I acknowledge it reach the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly add-on up. I m hesitant to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
Its afterward worth getting the fuel pressure checked as if this is low due to a blocked filter or faulty regulator or even a ill pump will every upshot in insufficient fuel creature delivered to the engine. Might with be worth cleaning out the idle enthusiasm control motor / valve as these acquire clogged taking place taking into consideration carbon and some brake cleaner washed through helps clear things off.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode correspondingly I'd recommend to create positive the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly stuck once carbon. and later accustom yourself the TPS fittingly that the IDL attach is continuous to the E2 glue taking into consideration the throttle is closed, and edit circuit in the same way as the throttle is just cracked. Don't trouble more or less any voltages, the IDL read is the truly important one.
