I have a 2004 ES330 similar to a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but subsequently I go regarding turns upon onto highway ramps, considering I pain the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon later than the same engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Checked for links in the intake. in the manner of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant something like 30%. I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. later I unplug it and rule the motor, the car runs severe and at 850ish. I can lonesome guess that my new rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the different of rpm though? I think it abandoned adjusts it just about 1k..
I'm reviewing your ask now, and will reveal back up in the same way as your respond ASAP. Rgds Greg. What fault codes pull off you have. Does the engine manage taking into account the MAF disconnected. once the noisy hissing sound this could be your problem.
