I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but next I go something like turns on onto highway ramps, gone I depress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon in imitation of the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights direction on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for friends in the intake. in imitation of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems fine except that the TPS stays constant as regards 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model as a result it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I put up with the TPS is integrated subsequent to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you desire the mechanic to know previously I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the let breathe flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs gruff and at 850ish. I can deserted guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much manage in the alternating of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it something like 1k..
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. taking into account the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is as well as an intermittent popping unassailable coming at idle.
