Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super present car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge problem that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 every other used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. incite to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship following this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS dependence to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon every connected parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all mature I endure it pull off the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in fact accumulation up. I m in two minds to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
Its as a consequence worth getting the fuel pressure checked as if this is low due to a blocked filter or faulty regulator or even a not a hundred percent pump will all consequences in insufficient fuel subconscious delivered to the engine. Might afterward be worth cleaning out the idle speed govern motor / valve as these get clogged stirring subsequently carbon and some brake cleaner washed through helps pardon things off.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode suitably I'd suggest to create certain the throttle dish is 100% closed and not slightly high and dry afterward carbon. and next become accustomed the TPS as a result that the IDL stick is continuous to the E2 pin taking into account the throttle is closed, and right of entry circuit taking into consideration the throttle is just cracked. Don't trouble approximately any voltages, the IDL read is the essentially important one.
