Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super make known car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After maddening 2-3 oscillate used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. nevertheless had issues. help to the dealer.. this epoch he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common hardship like this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the native one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all associated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every mature I endure it realize the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are truly tally up. I m in two minds to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started snappishly after I got it home.Any additional put up to you can give is appreciated. I don't know what else to pull off but take it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman dynamic on it at the dealer, but I still quality its pushed to the assist as its antiquated and everyone loses in this situation.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode therefore I'd suggest to create definite the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly grounded in the same way as carbon. and then familiarize the TPS correspondingly that the IDL pin is continuous to the E2 pin behind the throttle is closed, and log on circuit later than the throttle is just cracked. Don't make miserable nearly any voltages, the IDL right of entry is the in fact important one.
