Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super puff car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge suffering that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) upon tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 swing used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. assist to the dealer.. this become old he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common misery subsequently this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every connected parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all grow old I receive it complete the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are really tallying up. I m unsure to adjoin the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misery has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or thus it seems. I've been dealing gone this since July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 mature more.My father owns an sc400 and its been essentially good to him.. I'm having a hard era not living thing sour gone this purchase. I pull off setting behind its a fine car though. Motor sounds cute and is super mild in the same way as executive right.
