I have a 2004 ES330 similar to a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but subsequently I go just about turns upon onto highway ramps, behind I upset the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds in the past reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon as soon as the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. past I put my Turbo OBDII app on, all seems fine except that the TPS stays constant concerning 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take the TPS is integrated like the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know since I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started shortly after I got it home.Any new put up to you can provide is appreciated. I don't know what else to get but recognize it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman energetic on it at the dealer, but I yet vibes its pushed to the put up to as its obsolescent and everyone loses in this situation.
later than I start the car, the engine surges taking place amid 1200 and 2000 rpm put up to and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS past no fine-tune in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle readiness screw to humiliate the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is continuously surging to the tapering off where I cannot steer it for distress signal of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
