I have a 2004 ES330 with a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but in the manner of I go in this area turns upon onto highway ramps, later I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon bearing in mind the thesame engine and it jumps off the start and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights aim on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried fittingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. past I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant regarding 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model fittingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I put up with the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: anything else you want the mechanic to know since I be next to you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the expose flow meter and said it was good. considering I unplug it and direct the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can forlorn guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the substitute of rpm though? I think it deserted adjusts it more or less 1k..
past I start the car, the engine surges occurring surrounded by 1200 and 2000 rpm help and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS later than no modify in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to adapt the idle zeal screw to belittle the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is each time surging to the point where I cannot steer it for anxiety of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
