I have a 2004 ES330 subsequent to a hestitation problem. It is good from a full stop but later I go in this area turns upon onto highway ramps, later than I sadden the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon afterward the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery thoroughly charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively other battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried consequently far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. like I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant on the subject of 30%. I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. bearing in mind I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs harsh and at 850ish. I can on your own guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much direct in the substitute of rpm though? I think it solitary adjusts it nearly 1k..
I'm reviewing your question now, and will state support behind your answer ASAP. Rgds Greg. What malfunction codes realize you have. Does the engine run in the same way as the MAF disconnected. like the noisy hissing unassailable this could be your problem. This could be a large vacuum leak ,with the MAF combined it is lonely measuring the expose that is getting later the MAF, in view of that if the intake manifold is sucking in air the let breathe to fuel ratio will be definitely out and cause the engine to stal
