I have a 2004 ES330 later than a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full stop but in the same way as I go just about turns on onto highway ramps, later than I distress the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon next the similar engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights position on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively extra battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried for that reason far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for links in the intake. later than I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant vis--vis 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model so it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I assume the TPS is integrated once the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: everything else you want the mechanic to know back I link up you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started snappishly after I got it home.Any new back you can have the funds for is appreciated. I don't know what else to pull off but take it put up to to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman vigorous on it at the dealer, but I still character its pushed to the assist as its archaic and everyone loses in this situation.
in the same way as I start the car, the engine surges occurring amongst 1200 and 2000 rpm back and forth. I misused the IAC and the TPS subsequently no bend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this same issue. Prior to this I would have to become accustomed the idle quickness screw to degrade the rpm and it would preserve for a while. Now, the engine is permanently surging to the reduction where I cannot drive it for frighten of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
