This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any let breathe dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and fittingly not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can next permit the engine to rev up behind not desired causing sharp running. As its a mechanical defect it tends not to approach on the oddity open and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise once the engine running.
I started the car in the works this morning, it starts up and runs at 1750 and within a minute or hence climbs on top of 2500..
