I have a 2004 ES330 behind a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but similar to I go around turns upon onto highway ramps, following I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds back reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon similar to the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights tilt on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively supplementary battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried in view of that far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. in the manner of I put my Turbo OBDII app on, everything seems good except that the TPS stays constant almost 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model correspondingly it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I take on the TPS is integrated behind the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know in the past I affix you? No, I guess that is it.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the freshen flow meter and said it was good. similar to I unplug it and run the motor, the car runs sharp and at 850ish. I can isolated guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or somehow my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don't think the tps has that much control in the alternative of rpm though? I think it without help adjusts it vis--vis 1k..
have you looked into throttle body coking and/or combustion chamber/valve carbon buildup? are you in the works to date upon all maintenance; spark plugs fuel filter pcv vlave etc? have you performed a visual inspection and listened to engine as it warms happening and is warmed up? oftentimes in engine take action many factors may cause the thesame symptom(s)
