Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to steer off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After irritating 2-3 interchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. put up to to the dealer.. this era he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research upon them, and found that its a common pain later this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did all sorts of diagnostics upon every joined parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all epoch I admit it attain the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are truly count up. I m undecided to be next to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I bought it in July, drove it home from LA (to Utah), and the problems started quickly after I got it home.Any extra support you can allow is appreciated. I don't know what else to do but recognize it incite to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman energetic upon it at the dealer, but I still air its pushed to the put up to as its antiquated and everyone loses in this situation.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. with the MAF is plugged in after that the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is as well as an intermittent popping unquestionable coming at idle.
