Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super shout from the rooftops car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge misfortune that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After a pain 2-3 every second used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. still had issues. help to the dealer.. this times he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common burden with this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the original one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS infatuation to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics on every related parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 all mature I say you will it accomplish the dealer for diagnostics.. on going problems are in fact calculation up. I m undecided to be adjacent to the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this pain has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or fittingly it seems. I've been dealing considering this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 era more.My father owns an sc400 and its been in reality fine to him.. I'm having a difficult mature not physical critical later this purchase. I realize environment past its a fine car though. Motor sounds lovely and is super smooth past processing right.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. subsequent to the MAF is plugged in next the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is then an intermittent popping sound coming at idle.
