This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any air dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and correspondingly not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can as well as allow the engine to rev happening gone not desired causing aggressive running. As its a mechanical deviation it tends not to point of view upon the malfunction vivacious and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise once the engine running.

I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests upon the air flow meter and said it was good. when I unplug it and manage the motor, the car runs gruff and at 850ish. I can by yourself guess that my additional rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or anyhow my maf has died in the midst of all this. I don't think the tps has that much run in the alternative of rpm though? I think it lonely adjusts it something like 1k..

once I start the car, the engine surges in the works along with 1200 and 2000 rpm back and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS following no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle swiftness screw to subjugate the rpm and it would support for a while. Now, the engine is each time surging to the lessening where I cannot drive it for buzzer of damage to the steer train. Any experienced solution?
