Hi, this car is kicking everyone s ass.. 92 lexus sc400. 128k. Super spread around car that I am ready to drive off a cliff. had a idle surge burden that I researched online and did tests (per the manual) on tps, iac and maf and cleaned the TB. After grating 2-3 exchange used IAC s, I took it to the master tech at lexus. He said it was the IAC valve. He tried my used ones.. and finally a rebuilt one. yet had issues. encourage to the dealer.. this get older he says, it needs a ECU. I did a lot of research on them, and found that its a common misfortune in the same way as this car.. bought a used one.. more trouble. had the indigenous one rebuilt by a specialist.. and that s where I am at now.. Put it in tonight and the car idles at 2k rpm. Does the TPS compulsion to be re-adjusted? The master tech did every sorts of diagnostics upon all associated parts (tps, maf, iac). 0-200 every time I undertake it do the dealer for diagnostics.. upon going problems are truly adding together up. I m hesitant to touch the tps if he had it dialed. Any insight? Thanks in advance. Jason
I'm 1500 too high.. or more. It's boggling to me how this misfortune has morphed into various idle problems and has everyone perplexed.. or so it seems. I've been dealing similar to this in the past July.. makes me appreciate my 240z 10 epoch more.My daddy owns an sc400 and its been in fact fine to him.. I'm having a hard era not living thing prickly past this purchase. I realize feel as soon as its a good car though. Motor sounds gorgeous and is super smooth later doling out right.
Hello the TPS does have an effect upon switching the car into idle mode thus I'd suggest to create determined the throttle plate is 100% closed and not slightly beached in the same way as carbon. and next get used to the TPS so that the IDL glue is continuous to the E2 stick considering the throttle is closed, and entry circuit afterward the throttle is just cracked. Don't cause problems more or less any voltages, the IDL entry is the truly important one.
