I have a 2004 ES330 later a hestitation problem. It is fine from a full end but when I go all but turns upon onto highway ramps, taking into consideration I hurt the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds before reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon like the same engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights perspective on? Is the battery adequately charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively new battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for connections in the intake. behind I put my Turbo OBDII app on, whatever seems fine except that the TPS stays constant something like 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model suitably it has not throttle cable or normal TPS. I consent the TPS is integrated similar to the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: all else you want the mechanic to know previously I border you? No, I guess that is it.
Thanks for your response. I just checked what you mentioned, that I hadn't already checked, except fuel pressure.Let me tell you a tiny more virtually the burden history. It currently has a master tech attributed idle expose rule valve and tps installed. without disturbing anything, the last (used) ecu and my original, would run in the car without this symptom.
when I start the car, the engine surges going on amid 1200 and 2000 rpm back up and forth. I changed the IAC and the TPS considering no amend in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC's have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to familiarize the idle rapidity screw to lower the rpm and it would retain for a while. Now, the engine is continuously surging to the narrowing where I cannot drive it for warning of damage to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
