I have a 2004 ES330 considering a hestitation problem. It is good from a full end but next I go with reference to turns upon onto highway ramps, with I afflict the accellarator (sp?) it hesitates for 2 seconds previously reving up. I ve taken it to a mechanic and he says it is normal. I have an 2003 Avalon considering the thesame engine and it jumps off the begin and has no hesitation. Mechanic s Assistant: Will the headlights slant on? Is the battery sufficiently charged? With or without headlights on. Relatively additional battery. Mechanic s Assistant: What is the model of your 04 Lexus? ES330 Mechanic s Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried correspondingly far? I ve cleaned the MAF sensor. Checked for contacts in the intake. like I put my Turbo OBDII app on, anything seems good except that the TPS stays constant approaching 30%. This is a drive-by-wire model for that reason it has not throttle cable or usual TPS. I believe the TPS is integrated following the throttle controller/motor. Mechanic s Assistant: whatever else you want the mechanic to know in the past I be close to you? No, I guess that is it.
I bought it in July, drove it house from LA (to Utah), and the problems started hurriedly after I got it home.Any additional incite you can come up with the money for is appreciated. I don't know what else to complete but agree to it urge on to the dealer. I know I've got the shop foreman functioning upon it at the dealer, but I nevertheless tone its pushed to the put up to as its obsolete and everyone loses in this situation.
I don't have any check engine lights unless I unplug the MAF sensor. next the MAF is plugged in subsequently the car will stall unless I put my foot upon the accelerator. There is moreover an intermittent popping hermetically sealed coming at idle.
